A deep sense of gratitude

Today, 23 May, Sr. Lucy Rose Ozhukayil, FMA General Councillor, left the SPR (South Pacific Region) Province for India where she will stay for two days and then leave for Rome where she will attend meetings with Mother Yvonne and the rest of the General Council for more than a month. At the Melbourne airport she asked Sr. Edna Mary MacDonald to thank each and everyone of the SPR province for all that she experienced during her three weeks in this region of the world. She also shared that the annual retreat of Mother Yvonne and the General Council will be held in Mornese this year. She stressed the point that she will pray for all in the SPR province when she is there. She stated as well that she looks forward to returning to the South Pacific again for the canonical visit which will occur, at this stage, from 10 March - 16 May 2018.

The SPR province is indebted to Sr. Lucy for all she has been to each person during her visits to Australia, Samoa and the Solomon Islands. It is hoped that Sr. Lucy arrives safely both in India and in Rome and ultimately all in the province pray for her ongoing journeys and dedicated service in other provinces of the Institute of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians. Thank you once again, Sr. Lucy, for your presence among us all in this region of the world!
