The Maria Mazzarello Development Centre, established by the Salesian Sisters of the South Pacific Region, came into operation since the 1st of February, 2014. The centre focuses on providing intensive, short courses that help young women and mothers develop life skills such as literacy, sewing, hospitality, cooking, and so on. On December 8, 2023, The Daughters of Mary Help of Christians (FMA) known as the Salesian sisters joyfully celebrated the Feast of the Immaculate Conception at the Don Bosco Chapel in Henderson. Sister Joan Levi FMA marked a special milestone by making her Final Profession during the ceremony.
