Today at Scoresby a group of young women came to share afternoon tea with the community and a short prayer in the chapel. The origins of this encounter came out of OzBosco held at St. Joseph's College, Ferntree Gully this year. A group of young women who attended the youth rally and met some of the Sisters and novices, wanted to get to know them more, hence their request to come and share some time with the Sisters. And it happened today. We never know how one encounter leads
Today, 23 May, Sr. Lucy Rose Ozhukayil, FMA General Councillor, left the SPR (South Pacific Region) Province for India where she will stay for two days and then leave for Rome where she will attend meetings with Mother Yvonne and the rest of the General Council for more than a month.
At the Melbourne airport she asked Sr. Edna Mary MacDonald to thank each and everyone of the SPR province for all that she experienced during her three weeks in this region of the world.
